Description
At Inherited Cancers Australia, we help people understand and manage their risk of inherited cancers. You may have known us as Pink Hope—we rebranded in 2024, but our mission remains the same: to break the cycle of familial cancer and support people with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their health.
We know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to face genetic risk. That’s why we provide practical, evidence-based support to help you and your loved ones make informed decisions. From webinars and information days to downloadable guides and personalised support, everything we offer is designed to empower you.
If you’ve recently learned about a family history of cancer, or you’re going through genetic testing, you don’t have to do it alone. Our Inherited Cancer Support Service is run by a certified genetic counsellor and includes peer-led online groups, mentoring programs, and resources that speak directly to your experience. We focus on real conversations, clear information, and community connection.
We’re also active advocates for change. We work with healthcare professionals, government, and the broader community to push for better access to genetic testing and more awareness around inherited cancer risk. Whether it’s through policy submissions or national media campaigns, we’re always working to improve outcomes.
Our community is built on lived experience, shared knowledge, and mutual support. Every day, we see the impact that access to the right resources—and the right people—can have. Whether you’re looking for information, reassurance, or someone who gets it, we’re here for you.
Because for us, this is personal.
